Handbuilt Pottery Classes with Gabe’s Pottery
In this 6-week virtual class you will make the following functional and non-functional items.
Glazed items:
- cereal bowl & leaf bowl ( time permitting)
- tumbler
- mug with handle
Fired unglazed items:
- succulent pot
- coil plant pot
- fun class projects that can be painted later - such as mushrooms, owls, gnome house, free choice projects
Supplied by student:
towel
ice cream pail
newspaper
patterning tools ( fork, doily etc.)
round cookie cutter (if available )
rolling pin
paint brush
Kits are $20 (purchase separately) and include the following items and will need to be returned:
Clay (you will be returning your completed pieces for glazing and firing)
sponge
metal pin
help-sticks
cutting wire
canvas board
shish kebab stick & large popsicle stick
2 small bamboo bowls
pringle tube
plastic
paper templates for tumbler, mug, succulent pot, gnome house roof
yogurt container, short wide
Glaze and firings are included in kit fee.
