Scott Woods Show - Old Fashioned Hoedown!!
This uplifting 2 hour live show features Scott Woods on fiddle and his all-star band, including piano, accordion, fiddles an drums. You will hear lots of Canadian Old Time Fiddle music, Traditional Country and Gospel favourites, fancy instrumentals, sweet harmonies, smooth vocals, sensational step dancing, family humour, inspirational stories, and of course some of Scott's famous trick fiddling - front and back somersaults and walking on a barrel - all while playing his fiddle! And there may be a few surprises as well!
ABOUT SCOTT WOODS
Scott Woods is a multiple winner of the Canadian Open and Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Championships as well as Fiddle Entertainer of the Year. Scott's famous trick-fiddling won the Canadian Novelty Fiddle Championship title and earned him 'The Flippin' Fiddler' nickname. In 2018, Scott was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Association.
For seven years, Scott was the musical director and played the part of Don Messer in a show called "Memories of Don Messer's Jubilee", paying tribute to the late great icon.
He now travels across the country continuing his own family tradition of old time fiddle music that was started by his father & The Merv Woods Orchestra back in 1950. The Scott Woods Show is presented in as many as 150 communities every year.
