Group Resistance Training
Mondays 7:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.
Resistance training often referred to as strength training or weight training, improves muscle strength, endurance and tone and protects your joints from injury. It can help you reach your weight management goals as well as maintain flexibility and balance. It involves exercising muscles using some form of resistance. The resistance for these classes will be bands and your own body weight. There are many benefits of Resistance Training; here are a few of many: Boost Metabolism and Reduce Body Fat, Increase Bone Density and Improve Balance, Improve Mental Health, Build Muscle Mass, Improve Muscle Strength and Endurance, Reduce the Risk of Sports Injuries, & Increase Self-Esteem.
Level: All Levels
Resistance bands are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own.
What to Bring:
Dress comfortably, in clothing that you can move freely in
Wear runners
Bring an Exercise/Yoga mat
Bring a water bottle
