This is a live online class, a link will be sent to you to join the class once payment and registration has processed. In addition, a recording of the class will be sent to you with access up to the following class.
Resistance training often referred to as strength training or weight training, improves muscle strength, endurance and tone and protects your joints from injury. It can help you reach your weight management goals as well as maintain flexibility and balance.

It involves exercising muscles using some form of resistance. The resistance for these classes will be bands, dumbbells and your own body weight, this includes the incorporation of Pilates.

There are many benefits of Resistance Training; here are a few of many: Boost Metabolism and Reduce Body Fat, Increase Bone Density and Improve Balance, Improve Mental Health, Build Muscle Mass, Improve Muscle Strength and Endurance, Reduce the Risk of Injuries, & Increase Self-Esteem.

Resistance bands or dumbbells are not provided for online classes. At some point however, you may want to purchase your own to get the most benefits from your workouts, these can be purchased at most stores and are quite inexpensive. Jen will offer body weight exercises and options for those that do not have equipment.

How to prepare:
• Dress comfortably, in clothing that you can move freely in
• Wear runners
• Exercise/Yoga mat
• Water bottle
