In a continued effort to push for the inclusion of an MRI unit in the new Portage and District General Hospital, MLA Jeff Bereza has scheduled a town hall meeting October 22nd, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Prairie Fusion Arts and Entertainment Centre (formerly the Glesby Centre). Minister of Health will be invited, doctors, City of Portage, RM of Portage, Chamber of Commerce and several First Nations communities, Health Critic, Portage Hospital Foundation will be invited to speak along with attendees. People are encouraged to arrive early and for those with transportation issues we will be providing rides to and from the event.
