United Way West Central Manitoba, Portage la Prairie office will be holding out annual coats for kids distribution days, this year we have also added a date for Seniors to come and pick out warm winter gear.
Dates are as follows:
November 4th 3pm-7pm Youth For Christ building 60 Tupper Street ( Use the back entrance, not the front)! United Way Staff & The Portage Terriers will be at the November 4th distribution day from 5pm-7pm to assist youth and families in finding the perfect winter attire.
November 5th- Service for Seniors will be opening up the distribution from 10am-2pm for the Seniors in our local community, We encourage anyone 55+ who is in need for a winter coat, mittens, hats etc. to come down to 60 Tupper Street ( Youth for Christ building, go to the entrance around back in ally) the service for seniors staff and volunteers will be delighted to assist you.
November 5th- 2pm-430pm Open to all in need of Coats for kids, seniors, adults, youth. Family Resource Centre staff will be happy to assist you in the distribution day.
We encourage anyone needing warm winter coats to come to the YFC building located at 60 Tupper Street ( back entrance) to come and stop in.
You will need your health card and a bag to carry your items in, we do not provide bags.
