Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad
“Hockey play shoots – scores! This poignant, involving play takes a simple love story between ordinary people and transforms it into something quite wonderful.” – Edmonton Sun
This Canadian romantic comedy is about two lonely single parents who meet and fall in love while watching their kids play a season of minor hockey. Hockey Mom, Hockey Dad was first produced in 1999 by Two Planks and a Passion Theatre Company on tour throughout Nova Scotia. The Toronto premiere was produced by Factory Theatre in 2003.
“You’re mistaken. I’m not holdin’ your hand. I’m holdin’ my mitt. Your hand just happens to be in it.”
