Patrons are able take out library materials they have requested through the following means:

3) Placing a Hold on materials directly through the library catalogue: www.portagelibrary.com

Once a request has been placed, patrons will schedule a time to pick up their materials.
Please note that all DVD rentals will be free to borrow while we are closed to the public.
All returns can be made through the book drop, including DVDs and CD Audiobooks.
The book drop does not require a key card to unlock at this time.
Returned materials will be quarantined for 1 week before being allowed to be signed out again to patrons.
The library building will remain closed to the public for the foreseeable future.
While the Portage la Prairie Regional Library appreciates the desire to utilize our facility,
the first and foremost priority is the safety and well-being of everyone.
